What exactly do men want in ladies? I want to share a few things that Rev. Elekima shared in his session yesterday. It was a powerful session as he talked about what men really want in women. The audio and video will be made available later on.

What do men want?

1. Respect
This is true or every man. If a lady is not ready
to respect her husband, then the marriage may not work.

2. Praise and approval
Sometimes, you almost think it is only the lady that needs all the compliments and approval, but a man needs a lot of praise and approval as well, even though he might never ask for it.

3. A home maker
A man wants a home maker. All he has is a house but he wants a woman that can turn the house into a home. He wants a heaven and a haven, not an oven!

4. Sex
This does not need much explanation. You know it already.

5. Someone who gets along with family folk
A man wants a lady that will integrate well into the extended family and get along with family members.

6. A companion, a play mate
Men love to play. There is a little boy in every man. A man wants a lady he can play and laugh with.

7. Openness and transparency
A man wants a lady that he can open up to and share everything with.

8. Men want to be needed
A man wants to be needed. He doesn't want to be ignored.

9. Men want a Proverbs 31 woman
Even though he wants to be needed, he also wants a Proverbs 31 woman who seems to be able to do everything. That looks like a contradiction but he wants both.

10. Men want to be deferred to
Men want to be deferred to. They have a fragile ego and they don’t want to be insulted.
