1. Minister unto God daily
This is very important and it should be an essential part of our daily relationship with God. Take a look at the scripture:
"Every day will I bless thee; and I will praise thy name for ever and ever." (Psa 145:2, KJV)
It is something you should daily, whether you are single or married. It gives you strength. It helps your perspective daily. At least, once in a day, take time to bless His holy name.
It is good if you can do it first thing in the morning.
2. Pray for favour daily
Almost daily, we eat till we are satisfied. We
sleep till we are satisfied. We relax till we are satisfied. There is also something you can be satisfied with, it is called favour.
"And of Naphtali he said, O Naphtali, satisfied with favour, and full with the blessing of the LORD: possess thou the west and the south." (Deu 33:23, KJV)
Pray daily, that God will satisfy you with His favour. There is a difference between favour and labour. One day of favour can often be greater than ten years of labour.
O Lord, let your favour speak for me today!
3. Pray for His mercy daily
There is nothing as wonderful as God’s mercy. We are apt to make mistakes, we sometimes veer into wrong paths, but thank God for His mercies.
"Be merciful and gracious to me, O Lord, for to You do I cry all the day." (Psa 86:3, AMP)
O Lord, have mercy upon me!
4. Pray for God’s Help
There is always a clear difference between a man that is helped of God and man that lacks the help of God.
"For at that time day by day there came to David to help him, until it was a great host, like the host of God." (1Ch 12:22, KJV)
In your marital pursuit, ask for the help of God. It should be a constant prayer on your lips. Day by day, such help came to David until he became like the host of God!
Look at the way Message Translation puts it
"Hardly a day went by without men showing up to help—it wasn't long before his band seemed as large as God's own army!" (1Ch 12:22, MSG)
Pray daily that God will send helpers of destiny your way!
5. Pray for inner strength
"Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;" (Psa 91:5, KJV)
This scripture never says to pray so that arrows will not fly. They will certainly fly. But is says you should not be given to fear!
Pray that God will strengthen in you in your inner man daily. It determines your responses to situations and circumstances which of course determines your victory.
It determines your discernment and your judgement. It determines the direction you go and it certainly determines who you hang out with.
May you not hang out with destiny wasters time eaters and people that distract.
May your path cross with the right person, may you be able to discern and may you have inner strength to obey God, to stay away from compromise and to serve God and fulfill destiny!
