The reason is just one word: Attitude!
"A scoffer seeks Wisdom in vain [ for his very ATTITUDE blinds and deafens him to it ], but knowledge is easy to him who [ being teachable ] understands." (Pro 14:6, AMP)
Webster Dictionary defines attitude as the way you think and feel about someone or something, a feeling or way of thinking that affects a person's behavior, a way of thinking and behaving that people regard as unfriendly, rude, etc.
There is a huge difference between spirituality and attitude. You can be very spiritual, speak in tongues, have revelation from the Bible, but if you have an attitude, it can mess up a lot of things.
Attitude is what makes people conclude about you without listening to you. Attitude includes your body language, your mannerisms, your disposition
and your behaviours. The Camp Meeting Audio is out. You can download them HERE

Attitude is what makes people conclude about you without listening to you. Attitude includes your body language, your mannerisms, your disposition
There are attitudes you can put up and nobody wants to come near you.
Have you met people you concluded about without interaction with them? What you saw in them is an attitude.
Have you met ladies who never said anything and you just concluded, that the lady would be a nasty person? What you saw is an attitude.
Have you met some people for only three minutes and in your heart, regardless of their beauty, handsomeness or wealth, you conclude you can never marry such people? What you saw is an attitude.
Do you have an attitude?
Have you been told severally that you are proud and pompous, and yet those people who passed the comment don't even know your person?
Have you been told that you are rude and nasty? Have you been told that you are very unfriendly?
Have people made statement like, “I pity the man/woman that will marry you? What they saw was an attitude.
Now, you can say, I don't bloody care! That would also be an attitude!
Now, I don't mean to say, you should listen to what everybody says and let them regulate your emotions by endless comments. I don't also mean that you should get guilty and start sulking.
But certainly, you should not ignore some of these statements.
What do you do?
You have prayed, you have fasted but nobody is coming near you, then you might need to check your attitude.
A lot of people have concluded there is a curse, but really there is none, it is just an attitudinal thing, unless you want to call a bad attitude a curse.
In marriage, a bad attitude can make your spouse have a re-think. Deal with negative attitudes. The writer of Proverbs says for example that a contentious woman can drive her husband away from home!
A husband or wife that nags can frustrate the other party. If your spouse tell you that you nag, you don't need to nag your way out it, you need to calm down and see how you make changes.
"And be constantly renewed in the spirit of your mind [ having a fresh mental and spiritual ATTITUDE ]," (Eph 4:23, AMP)
May God help us all.
Now, what do you do at such times?
1. Do not ignore the statements
2. Do not condemn yourself.
3. Ask God to show you who you really are.
4. Buy books that deal with those weaknesses and read them.
5. Start making changes deliberately, prayerfully. Praying in the Spirit will help.
6. Be courteous, smile more, and don't treat people anyhow
7. Ask your mentor or pastor to tell you areas where you need to make adjustments from their observations. Also, ask them to tell you areas of strength where you need to maximize
8.Pray and make changes. Then pray more and make more changes. Then pray again and make changes again.
9. Review every relationship you’ve had in the past that didn't work. What went wrong? Have you made corrections in your life?
10. Be thankful daily. Be grateful to God for the gift of life. Believe that a new day comes with new possibilities. Let yesterday go with its doldrums and failures, let today begin with a new grace, and possibility, a new beginning and most importantly, a new attitude! Being continually grateful to God and help you have a great attitude and not a negative attitude!
